Hi, I am diabetic for last 10 years, taking reclimet of Dr. reddy initially effect was very good fasting and pp both were in 120 to 140 range but now after 6 months fasting is ok 120 around but pp always near 200. Please advise.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Usually in six months no drug shows less effect on blood glucose. It is more of of a problem related to either improper dietary intake or lack of physical exercise or both. Looking at your weight and height with a BMI of 31.25 kgs/Sq meter you are already in grade one obesity. Your ideal body weight should be around 56 kgs. There is an excess of 20 kgs. This is the main reason for high postprandial glucose. So please give a closer look at your diet and increase the exercise. Thanks.
