I am a 20 year old male. I have a problem extending my right knee more than 30 degrees after I flexed it for more than 2 minutes (like have have pain when in squatting position for a few minutes). Except for that I do not have any problem or pain while walking running or doing other stuff. Physical examination by doctor revealed nothing. But the pain is too much (deep within the joint not superficial) while completely extending the flexed knee. Is MRI compulsory or is there any diagnosis?
