Hello, Thanks for the query. Urine frequency increases if there is high blood glucose, because when glucose goes beyond 180 mg in blood, kidney is not able to reabsorb extra amount. That gets secreted or excreted in urine. When glucose is present in urine in the bladder, more wter is drawn due to osmosis and visits to toilet increase. This is especially more so in the night. If this has to reduce then there has to be a strict glucose control. Fasting glucose should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8%. When these levels are achieved, then urine frequency is normalised and one may hardly get up in the night. So please see that your diabetes is brought under strict control. Another important aspect is your excess weight. With a BMI of 30.44 kgs/Sq meter, you are already in grade 1 obesity. Your ideal body weight should be about 68 kgs. Therefore, weight reduction is also necessary. That will also help in better glucose control. Thanks.
