Hi sir, I have stomach pain then check my ultrasound in whole abdomen it's result Liver-"GRADE 1 FATTY LIVER infiltration" Pancreas- TAIL IS OBSTRUCTED BY BOWEL GASES Then others are normal please help and advice.

Fatty liver is a normal finding in most of the patients. Only precaution you need to take to prevent further increase in fatty liver, is to do regular exercise, reduce sugar intake, decrease alcohol consumption. For your stomach I will require few more details so as to tell you why you might be having stomach pain.

Hi, Fatty liver is a common finding in ultrasound. One of the common causes are over weight. O other is nafld (non alcoholic fatty liver disease). Nafld is usually associated with hypothyroidism, raised cholesterol, diabetes. Start with calculating your bmi and getting liver function tests. If this is nafld we will have to start mediation, other wise of its only high bmi then treatment will be weight reduction. Why should you treat fatty liver? It in itself is not an immediate problem. But long standing nafld and if progresses cn lead to liver fibrosis and liver cirrhosis. That usually happens over a long period 15-20 years. So to you should treat if it needs treatment, especially if you are young So bottom line: need bmi and liver function test.
