Testicular cancer is diagnosed due to testicular swelling and raised tumour markers of AFP, B-HCG and LDH. Usually fnac is not done unless markers are normal. A CT scan of the abdomen and thorax is done to see the lymphnodes. The first step is orchidectomy through an inguinal incision to remove the testis with spermatic cord. Then depending upon the histopathology, the post operative tumor markers and the CT scan findings, the further treatment is decided, which may be observation, radiation, surgery or chemotherapy. If you could share your reports, I would be in a better position to comment regarding the treatment.
