Hello Experts, initially I would like to inform you that Last year my BP was 148/92 till March, 2018. I was in so much problem. But I don't know it has happened Miracle with me that nowadays my pressure stays in normal range. That time I couldn't eat meat, eggs, salty foods. But right now I can eat everything. But I've given up all kinds of fast foods, salty snacks, refine sugar right now. I'm going to start doing gym from the month of May, 2018. Right now, in evening time I do Brisk Walk for one hour. Some times I try to run during walking time. That time my heart beats goes too much fast, is it may happen due to my eating habit of Gutkha? And I've taken Personal Trainer for Six months & he has promised me that he will reduce 40 KGs within Six months. It will safe for me? Please kindly suggest me.

Dear lybrateuser, - It is good that you are exercising & following healthy habits, also you must stop gutkha intake as it unhealthy - your heart rate will normalise as you keep improving & keep increasing your exercise duration & intensity as the body & the organs get accustomed to exercise - the burden on your heart will reduce as you loose weight & all parameters will be normal.

Give up Gutka and you will avoid the risk of oral cavity cancer too. 2.5 to 3.5 kg per month seems to be a safer rate of weight loss.
