Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query. First and foremost is to achieve a strict blood glucose control with fasting close to 100 mg, PP 170 to 180 mg & HbA1c% close to7%. Things to avoid I am sure you are aware, like, sweets, deep fried foods, junk food, pastries, bakery items & foods made from maida. Plus avoid colas, alcohol & smokibg. Use whole grain flour for roti & chapatis. Increase the intake of green leafy vegetables, salds & some fruits. Noodles if made from whole grain flour then it is good, otherwise should be avoided. Thanks.
