My father is a diabetic patient since last 30 years and now from January he is on nasal feeding. He was admitted to hospital due to seizure and aspiration Pneumonia. By the time he was admitted to hospital his weight was 85 and now he is 56. Health is decreasing day by day. Need a healthy diet plan. Please suggest what should I do?

Hello I agree that your father has lost a lot of weight but my humble advice is please refer to the hospital dietitian who can monitor them on day to day basis as his parameters will be checked regularly. Just make sure his diet is of fresh food ,nothing that comes in a packet .No Maida products. More green vegetables more protein intake like Dals whole beans, eggs If he can digest and chicken soup.
