I am a 68 yrs old lady having diabetes and high BP. My height is 5ft. 2 inches and weight 126 kg. Which keeps on increasing despite restricted diabetic diet. The weight is mostly increasing in the lower portion around waist and legs. I am unable to walkmuch. I take insulin 30 points twice and other medicine for diabetes and high BP and both are generally controlled. Kindly advise how can I reduce my weight. Can I go for bariatric surgery for weight reduction. What is the success rate of such surgery and its after effects. Thanks n rgds.
