My mother aged 76 has hypertension (20+years) her reading is somewhere between (140 to 160/90 sometimes 180 also) but surprisingly past 20 days, her BP reading is as low as 90/51 to 110/58-60. Sometimes she complains of a severe headache. When we check at home, her reading still shows low. She needs to check every time before taking her BP Tab (Telma H 40 mg) She used to take LN BLOC 10 MG TABLET for few years. But now she has stopped taking it. Presently she is taking only Dilzem Tablet (occasionally) if her reading is around 130/80. But past 3 days her BP is low 110/50. So we have stopped all the tablet. Kindly advise what could be the reason for the LOW BP. Do we need to take any tests or any precautions for SOS.
