I have Diabetes and BP which is under control now. And interactive thyroid with fatty liver grade 1. I am taking multivitamin zevit cap. On daily basis since last 1 and half month due to my oral issues and those are almost recovered. Is it okay to take zevit continuously or it has adverse impact on my kidneys and liver.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. The vitamin supplement if you feel can be continued. It is unlikely to cause any problem with kidneys. It is improperly controlled diabetes and high BP which damage the kidneys. It is good to know that diabetes and BP are in control. Since no actual numbers are given, difficult to say anything further. Ideally in controlled diabetes FBG should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c%< 6.8. BP should be 120 - 130 / 70 to 80 mm Hg to be called as under control. Thanks.
