My tongue is somewhat white in colour and I have a bad breath. I tried to clean it using a tongue cleaner but it doesn't completely come off and the foul smell remains even after brushing. I am pretty sure the smell is coming from the tongue. What should I do?

Use Listerine mouthwash twice daily. Visit a dentist to know if your feeling is right or something else (calculus etc) to giving a foul smell. Chances are, you may be suffering from candidiasis due to past chronic use of antibiotics or some other underlying diseases like diabetes etc. Without a proper visual evaluation it will be very very difficult to convey proper diagnosis. Hope you will understand.
