Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the FBG 119 mg, is in the pre-diabetes state. Whereas HbA1c% 8.95 shows presence of diabetes for quite some time and it is not in control. TGL value is slightly high, no need to worry about it. Plus you have mentioned eltroxin as the medication being taken, which means there is hypothyroidism also. As regards eating paratha and curds yes you can have both, but your over all diet has to be controlled. Total caloric intake has to be regulated based on your weight, extent of daily exercise and blood glucose levels. Since diabetes is there, you will have to avoid sweets, deep fried foods, junk foods, pastries, bakery items and foods made of maida. Consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and certain fruits. Avoid colas, fructose corn syrup containing products and alcohol. Daily 1 hour of exercise is a must. Since you have not mentioned anything about treatment for diabetes, it appears youa are not yet taking treatment for that. You will have to initiate the treatment for that too. If you have any doubts please come back. Thanks.
