I have edema in both legs not always off and on what may be the reason I am a diabetic with thyroid and blood pressure but everything is normal and done tests pertaining to heart nad kidney they are fine .Please help.

Shailajiji, Thanks for the query. Looking at your weight and height it is clear that with a BMI of 36.36 kgs/M2, showing grade 2 obesity. That itself could be the reason for swelling in both the lower limbs. Since there is no mention of actual values of either blood glucose, HbA1c% and thyroid hormones or TSh, it is difficult to assess other possible reasons. It would have been better if you had mentioned all the values. Thanks.

Edema or water retention in legs can be due to reduced venous return and can be caused by prolonged standing and diabetes can play a role if not controlled well
