This medication is used for the treatment of the obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, sudden panic attacks, bulimia, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. It can improve your sleep, mood, appetite as well as the energy level. It belongs to the drug group known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs).
