I kissed a guy who had syphilis. He checks up regularly like. Twice a year and in treatment. From what i've seen, there are no signs on his tongue but i'm not sure. It's been over a month but they're no signs about syphilis on me. Still, i'm worried. Shall I get a blood test before I go to oversea for school though I may get tested again when I arrive there?

Primary infection with syphilis usually present as flu like illness, lymphadenopathy and painless ulcer. Though you can get tested as well vdrl is not very accurate. Though they are usually first test. Many false positive and negative fta - abs or tpha are recommended in case of high suspicious even if vdrl is negative or positive do contact me for further diagnosis and treatment if you feel necessary.
