Tpha test is a passive hemagglutination assay based on hemagglutination of erythrocytes sensitized with t. Pallidum antigen by antibodies found in the patient's serum or plasma. It is used for both qualitative and semi-quantative detection of anti-treponemal antibodies. Early syphilis can be cured, sometimes with a single injection of penicillin. Syphilis can be diagnosed by blood tests to confirm the presence of antibodies. A recommended antibiotic regimen using penicillin is available and its best treated in the early stages.

When diagnosed and treated in its early stages, syphilis is easy to cure. The preferred treatment at all stages is penicillin, an antibiotic medication that can kill the organism that causes syphilis. If you're allergic to penicillin, your doctor may suggest another antibiotic or recommend penicillin desensitization. If you are diagnosed with primary, secondary or early-stage latent syphilis (by definition, less than a year), the recommended treatment is a single injection of penicillin. If you've had syphilis for longer than a year, you may need additional doses. Penicillin is the only recommended treatment for pregnant women with syphilis. Women who are allergic to penicillin can undergo a desensitization process that may allow them to take penicillin. Even if you're treated for syphilis during your pregnancy, your newborn child should be tested for congenital syphilis and if infected, receive antibiotic treatment. The first day you receive treatment you may experience what's known as the jarisch-herxheimer reaction. Signs and symptoms include a fever, chills, nausea, achy pain and a headache. This reaction usually doesn't last more than one day. Treatment follow-up after you're treated for syphilis, your doctor will ask you to: have periodic blood tests and exams to make sure you're responding to the usual dosage of penicillin. Your specific follow-up will depend on the stage of syphilis you're diagnosed with. Avoid sexual contact with new partners until the treatment is completed and blood tests indicate the infection has been cured. Notify your sex partners so that they can be tested and get treatment if necessary.

Hiv is a virus that lives in human blood, sexual fluids, and breast milk. It weakens your immune system, so your body has a hard time fighting off common germs, viruses, fungi, and other invaders. Hiv doesn't live in saliva, tears, pee, or sweat -- so it can't be spread by casual contact with these body fluids. It’s recommended that you test for hiv and other sexually transmitted infections (stis) at least once a year if you’re having sex, even if you always use protection. You might want to test more regularly than this, for example, if you are having sex with a new partner or feel you are more at risk. Groups who are more at risk are recommended to test more regularly. Testing every 3-6 months is often advised for men who have sex with men. Testing regularly helps keep your mind at rest, and if you test positive, it means you can start treatment quickly, protecting your health.

Hello- Yes, it can still spread. Many STIs, including chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis, can be spread through oral sex. However, the chances of giving or getting STIs during oral sex can be lowered by using a condom or dental dam.

If you have taken 12+12 lac weekly for 3 weeks then the treatment is complete and fully effective no need to test as test may come false positive for long time.
