I am 31 old male and I am a thyroid patient, I used thyronorm 100 mg. Tab. Daily in empty stomach and take breakfast after half an hour. Recently I checked TSH and report is 8.22, where normal range is 4.92. So please suggest me how can I do in this situation and how to control it by medicine and diet chart.

You have to take homoeopathic treatment along with allopathic treatment to getting quick and better result. You should do regular walking with exercises at least half an hour in the morning and half an hour at evening. Thanks.

Mr. Lybrate-user, when on treatment with thyroxine, you should aim at getting tsh levels between 3 to 4 milli units / l. Then only good control is achieved and all symptoms are in check. Tsh 8.22 milli units/l means present dose is not enough. It needs an increase. Initially itself dose should have been a bit more than what you have been advised. Diet does not help in reducing tsh. I am sure you are already avoiding soy beans, soy containing products, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, radish, mustard, peanuts and coffee. Plus consume more of green leafy vegetables, salads and fruits. Use whole grain flour for chapati and roti. Avoid refined flour like maida and items made of that. Plus you will have to continue exercising daily for 1 hour. Thanks for the question.
