Madam, is your question to psychologist, then I as psychiatrist can tell you that you are asking wrong person (psychologist don't give medicines) secoundly, please revisit your psychiatrist with your issues, he/she will solve it better than to discus online. You can also seek help from premier institutes like ibhas/ aiims in new delhi. Lastly all medications are bad, if taken inappropriately, without consulting doctor. Hope I answered all your questions. Regarding the baby, it is totally wrong. Similar to diabetes and hypertension, there are medications prescribed during pregnancy for psychiatric disorder as well, depending on symptoms and risk-benefits. Sertraline is an ssri used for anxiety, depression and panic and olanzapine in 10 mg dose for panic is unusual, so do not stop any of these abruptly and consult your treating psychiatrist regularly on the dose and how to proceed. Anxiety stress patients worry too much. Stress in today?s day & age where stress is high, feelings of frustration can emerge. It is our perception that can change our current negative situation into a healthy & positive one. Another way of perceiving these feelings of frustration can be by looking at them as an opportunity to push ourselves to go that little extra mile until we achieve our objective. However, there are times when we all can go around in circles; and being in this space can be quite upsetting and lead to feelings of dissatisfaction, frustration and can even cloud our mind and judgment. Exercise one hr daily, oil massage body, hobby, support from friends family, help others, weekly holiday, yoga, meditation. Â

Hello, the first line treatment for your problem is sertraline. So you can taper off and stop olanzapine completely. Thats a myth that with psychiatry drugs you will not have a baby theres one drug that women should avoid during pregnancy and thats valproate. Other than that every other drug is safe. Take sertraline regularly and decrease dose of olanzapine to 5 mg for 10 days then stop olanzapine and continue sertraline on same dose.Â

You can have a baby and only during the pregnancy it is adviseable to not be on medication. But your condition is more serious than you think. You must never come off the medication without doctor's advice. These medicines are beneficial only when used regularly. I strongly recommend that you go for counseling along with the medication, and between the two professionals you will be guided well as to reducing medication or increasing it as the case may be. In counseling you will learn a lot of techniques, skills and tools to handle the problems you will face in this condition. Your age is in your favor if you cooperate and follow all instructions. You may be emotionally unresponsive, suffering from social withdrawal, extreme apathy, and lack of initiative and drive. If you are allowed to go internal you can strongly relate to distortions and in fact believe in them to be true. Your cooperation with the rehabilitation and medical intervention will not often be as desirable as it should be. In which case someone has to monitor you constantly and enforce some compliance (as in counseling). You must be functional always must be aware of your surroundings, and build a steady and trusting relationship with at least one member of the community. You may be difficult to handle, and you yourself will not find it easy to comply with therapeutic expectations. With someone strong and firm backing you you could be made to follow a tight schedule and do many activities and exercises to prevent yourself from succumbing to this illness. You must do regular exercise, sleep in moderation, eat a healthy diet, and live a stress free life to come through successfully. Understanding your emotions and learning to deal with them appropriately is key to your recovery. Â
