I am sure the myomectomy has been successful so do not worry. But has a repeat usg been done? This is the first period after surgery so just wait for the next one. This could be a one time occurrence though if there is infection then also periods can be heavy. But in that case you will have fever. If there is no fever or pain then infection is ruled out. Some blood tests may have to e done. For more information, visit your treating doctor or contact me online.

Post-op first period tends to be heavy. See if the next periods are heavy too. If they are, you will need an ultrasound.
