Dear lybrateuser, - There should be permanent nerve damage, your symptoms will subside slowly, no fixed time frame as it will depend on your body how much it is absorbing the supplement, also take a diet rich in vit b12, levels have to be tested - follow the advise of your treating doctor & you will get well.
