At 62 days, hiv antibody tests may or may not detect the infection. People develop entities at different rates. By 2 months, about 95% have developed fully detectable antibodies, the remaining 5% may still be undetectable. You cannot accurately tell if you fall in the 95% or the 5% category. The window period for a 4th generation antigen/antibody test is four weeks. There is a three month (90 days) window period after exposure, for an hiv test to detect more than 99.9% of infections. At two months (around 62 days), tests detect antibodies in about 95% of infections.
