Patient age 55 years female bp was high (160/100) so prescribed with atenolol 50, pulse rate 84. Now bp is 130/60 what to do? Cholesterol is high.

Stop atenolol and monitor bp for 3 days morning afternoon and night. Get his complete health checkup done. Including usg abdomen and chest x-ray. Then discuss online with reports or visit my clinic at noida. Reduce salt in diet and ask him to take warm water to drink. Stop cold water or cold drinks.
