My father is 52 years old. He is taking medicine for hypertension for almost 5 yrs. Now his bp is normal. Can he stop taking medicines now?

If you are on medicines since long, though your okay, but should never stop medicines suddenly. That too age wise&complaint wise, you should be cautious. Parallelly. You can start doing exercises (according to convenience&stamina wise. Yoga is one good method).& following strict diet measures will help in the long run. After some time, once you start feeling better in general, you can think of reducing dosage gradually. That too under the supervision of dr.
