I recently had 1st time severe heart attack last week & I have done Angio from the report I came to know I have 6 blocks in heart, my doctor suggested for CABG (Open heart surgery. Also I had brain stroke on 2012 on which my right side was paralyzed & after treatment I am feeling good. I am taking medication which is advised by neurologist for life time. Please suggest whether it is safe to do open heart surgery. I am currently taking medication for both heart & brain. Note: I don't have diabetes, but I have Blood pressure. Please Advice! Thanks

I think Open heart surgery with proper precautions, in presence of a neurologist can be done in your case. All major surgeries carry some risk. In you case ,with such extensive blockage, it may be essential for your health.
