My beard is starting white due to hypothyroidism and also age of 34. How can I control it any medication for delay it.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. I have gone through the details given and learn that you are on treatment for hypothyroidism. But there is no mention of levels of T3, T4 & TSH. To be free from symptoms of hypothyroidism TSH should be around 3 to 4 mU/L. As regards whitening of the beard, that is not related to hypothyroidism. That is an inherent problem related to lack of melanin in the hair follicle. There is no medication for this. Thanks.
