Dear Rash, Stopping antidepressants in 4 months depends on the diagnosis. There are various types of depression - few of them need life long medicines - few of them just for 6 months. Since your doctor knows the diagnosis, please continue the same dose till she/he is available for consultation. She/he might have arrangement with another doctor, please consult her/him. You have taken for 4 months with no major side effect and lot of benefit, please continue till you consult your doctor or her/his standby.
