Ketones in blood are byproduct of fat metabolism which occurs when there is no glucose available for energy production or there is deficiency of insulin which is responsible for energy production from glucose normally. Normally it is less than 1 mg/dl. Why you want to increase it?

Hello, Thanks for the query. Presence of ketones is seen uncontrolled diabetes. In other conditions like starving, low carb diet, excess stress ketones may appear in urine. If you are not diabetic then some other cause may be involved. Thanks.
