Hi Sir. I am suffering from depression for many many years. Visited many doctors. But no use. Now I am using velnafaxin 37.5 mg at night and feeling ok. Now I want to know how long should I use it? And should I increase the dosage? I tried many antidepressants. But no use. Best regards.

If you have suffered depression for very long and struggled to get better with most other medications then please continue venlafaxine especially if there are no side effects. If your depression has been relapsing or chronic then stopping the medication may lead to relapse of depression. For further advise you should speak to your treating psychiatrist.
