In test I found that I have hypothoird which causes weight gain but I'm 47 year old and weight is 36 kg. So should I take lythrox 100 mg or not because I don't want to lose weight. please reply .thnx a lot.

Hypothyroidism is a medical condition, which involves various healrh complications and can even result in weight gain. You are definitely suppose to include medicines early morning and empty stomach. Dosage of medicine will depends on your Thyroid hormone levels. Endocrinologist would be the right person to suggest you for accurate dosage. Regarding diet, restrict your intake of Soyabean, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Broccoli and include millets like Jowar, bajra and ragi in your meals. Include plenty of fruits and veg.
