Please understand that BP once it starts in becoming high is a lifelong problem, with lifestyle changes and medication we can help in bringing it down. First she should be evaluted for any underlying disease condition that may be leading to this rise, you should consult a cardiologist for that, after evaluation if this turns out to be age related idiopathic hypertension then you should try Lifetsyle changes like exercise, weight loss and diet modifications, if these can help lower BP to the desired level great but if that lowered BP is still high then medications are added to bring to BP to desired optimal level, and whichever type of medication you may choose to take allopathic, ayurvedic etc etc etc you will need to take it for life long otherwise she will not have optimal BP control. Making the choice of which therapy you would prefer is upto you.
