Shampoo is not a medical product. Changing shampoo will never help you to stop HAIR LOSS. Shampoos are prepared to wash your hair and removal of oils, dirt, dandruff, environmental pollutants and other contaminant particles from your scalp. However most people blame the shampoo when they notice hair loss or thinning. Remember that hair loss is not a single day process and actual mechanism starts 3-4 months before it comes out. The hair you find in your drain were already weak and ready to come out when you began shampooing. Abnormal hair loss is not a good sign and one should treat it soon. Most common causes for hair loss are hereditary factor, stress, hormonal changes, high grade Fever, Nutritional deficiencies, crash dieting or anaemia, thyroid, some medicines like antibiotics, steroids, chemotherapy, anti-hypertensive and anti-coagulant drugs, hormonal pills, Irregular food and sleeping habits, Environment and water changes etc. To make the perfect diagnosis, you need to submit full details of your problem. Since when you suffer hair loss? Is this hereditary? What treatment did you take? Any blood reports done? Do you suffer any other medical conditions like thyroid, diabetes etc? And also you will have to submit few pictures of affected area of scalp. After receiving the details, I will be able to give my opinion.
