Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Let me clarify that diabetes is a hormone (Insulin) deficiency disease. So the treatment is to either make the body (pancreatic beta cells) to produce more insulin by giving some oral drugs, some other drugs are given to improve insulin action. If body is unable to produce insulin then it has to be given from outside. There is no alternative. No other branch of medicine or alternate therapies have cure for diabetes. Thanks.
