My mother is facing a breathless problem, While sitting ,walking and working she is facing a breathless problem, it's been 3 year now and it's become sever. She is facing a cough problem also due to this she hard to breathe properly.

Dear Lybrateuser, - She should do steam inhalation twice a day - try to do some exercise like walking, yoga, deep breathing which will improve the blood circulation & also the lung capacity & immunity of the body thereby reducing cough & breathlessness - give her syrup zedex (for dry or wet cough depending on the expectoration, 2 teaspoonful three times a day - get investigations like basic blood parameters, CBC, cholesterol, sugar, x- ray chest, PFT (pulmonary function test) for lung function, ECG - consult a doctor to know the exact cause of the chronic breathlessness & proper management.x ray
