About Cefo Paed 50Mg Syrup

Cefo Paed 50Mg Syrup treats infections caused by bacteria. It works as an antibiotic by stopping the growth of bacteria and also killing it. It is used to treat infections such as bronchitis ( infection of the air tubes to the lungs), gonorrhea ( a sexually transmitted disease) and infections of ear, throat, tonsils etc. Cefo Paed 50Mg Syrup only treats bacterial infections and doesn’t work for viral infections like flu. This medication comes in the form of chewable tablets and capsules.

Cefo Paed 50Mg Syrup is used to treat infections caused by bacteria. It works as an antibiotic by stopping the growth of bacteria and also killing it. This medication comes in the form of chewable tablets and capsules. It is usually taken at intervals of 12 or 24 hours. It should be taken at the same time every day. If you miss a dose, it’s better to skip that dose if it’s already too late. Overdosing can cause harmful effects in your body.

    • Bacterial Septicemia

      It cures septicemia which is an infection of the blood caused by Staphylococci and Streptococcus pyogenes.

    • Gonococcal Infection

      This syrup helps in treating gonococcal infection which is a sexually transmitted bacterial infection caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

    • Urinary Tract Infection

      It treats infections of the urinary tract caused by E.coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Enterococci and Klebsiella pneumoniae.

    • Pneumonia

      This medication helps in treating community-acquired pneumonia which is a common type of lung infection caused by Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Haemophilus influenzae.

    • Bone And Joint Infections

      It helps in treating bone and joint infections like septic arthritis and osteomyelitis caused by Staphylococci and Streptococci species.

    • Skin And Structure Infection

      It cures Skin and structure infection like cellulitis, wound infection and cutaneous abscess caused by Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus.

    • Allergy

      Avoid if the patient has a known allergy to Cefo Paed 50Mg Syrup or any other Beta-lactam antibiotics like penicillins and cephalosporins.

    • Lidocaine

      Cefo Paed 50Mg Syrup is contraindicated if Lidocaine is used as a solvent for intravenous injection. Lidocaine can be used as a slovent for Intramuscular injection excluding contraindications.

    • Calcium-containing products

      Cefo Paed 50Mg Syrup is contraindicated in neonates who are on calcium-containing intravenous solutions or infusions such as parenteral nutrition because of the risk of precipitation of Cefo Paed 50Mg Syrup and calcium.

        Cholera Vaccine

        Avoid cholera vaccine if the patient has taken Cefo Paed 50Mg Syrup within 14 days before vaccination. Usage of other antibiotics and vaccines should be reported to the doctor.

        Ethinyl Estradiol

        The desired effect of contraceptive pills will not be achieved if these medicines are taken together. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement of the medicine should be made under the doctor's supervision.

        Amikacin

        You may experience nausea or vomiting, increased or decreased urination, sudden weight gain, and fluid retention if these medicines are taken together. This interaction is more likely to occur if you have a kidney disease. Regular kidney function tests are to be performed and appropriate dose adjustments or replacement of the medicine should be made under the doctor's supervision.

        Cyclosporine
