Hi, Your episiotomy sutures have opened up due to excess pressure pplied on that area. Sutured wounds takes about 3-6 months to resolve completely and gain back the original strength. Hence one should be very careful after surgery. Do not squat on the floor, do not use Indian toilets, avoid sex for at least 3 months and see that you do not suffer from constipation, as a result of which the pressure increases on the sutured area and the sutures may give up.
