you can start up with diet modification and if possible some of lifestyle modification too. start with walk/ running/ jog anytime during the day minimum for half an hour. take high protein and high fiber diet. include seasonal fruits and vegetables in your diet. drink plenty of water during the day. take regular meal every two hourly. salad is must with lunch and dinner both. early dinner is a very good idea when one is looking for weight loss. do check your fat, muscles and water level too. because sometimes water retention also leads to weight gain. so balancing with your vaat/pitah and kapha will help you to reduce weight.
