lybrate-user, Peripheral neuropathy is usually observed in almost every single patient with long term diabetes. In such situation most important is to maintain a strict blood glucose control with fasting blood glucose level closer to 100 mg, PP 160 to 180 mg & HbA1c%<7. Plus patient needs to be put on certain drugs which help in controlling pain and burning sensation. Plus patient should take care that there are no injuries to either toes or feet, as sensation is either altered or less. Therefore the injuries can become very serious problem. Should always wear a comfortable foot wear at home and outside. Thanks.
