Sirs, I am diabetic since my 44 and now I?m 50. I took alcohol up to 3 large twice in a week and had smoking habit. My PP BGL suddenly increased to 500 two months before and doctor prescribed to take insulin Apidra 4 IU thrice daily before food and Lantus 20 IU daily before bed. Also I?m having Tab. Glyciphage SR and Glucozide 40 twice daily. Now the BGL is normal but it will be high (200 in fasting) when I?m stopping the injection even for one day. Taking only tablets is not effective. I need advice how can I getting normal.
