Is natural honey food for diabetics. I have type-2 diabetes and I consume hitkari honey and cinnamon daily in the morning and evening. Is it safe to take honey in diabetes.

Hi Honey is sweet and has sugars in it. Though it has many other nutrients, when consumed it does increase blood sugar in diabetics. So it's better to avoid honey in diabetes.

this is doubtful. you should do some research ..just record sugar levels without honey and after taking honey. and decide yourself.
