I checked my my Blood pressure today afternoon it was 155/89 (although it was always normal in earlierdays) I doubt any heart related problem may be any signs of a heart attack, kindly guide me what to do now.

Dear Lybrateuser, - You have to reduce your weight by dieting & regular exercise - monitor your BP as it is on the higher side - reduce salt intake in your diet, avoid salty snacks, fried, processed & junk foods, avoid more than 1-2 cups of tea, coffee if you take so - destress your self by reading, doing yoga, walk for 30 -40 min, do meditation & deep breathing exercises - get blood sugar, cholesterol, ECG, stress echo done to rule out any problem, consult a doctor as you may require medication if your BP does not come down with medication.

Please get an ECG and Echo done. If they are normal get your BP checked 3-5 days to see if this was an erratic increase or if you really have BP and need treatment.
