Yes, you can have rice in your meal, one katori cooked rice is equivalent to one medium chapatti. Carbohydrate content of rice and wheat is same, only quantity matters, how much you eat,so nothing to worry.

Rice has higher glycemic index but you can have just a small amount like one cup if you need it so much. Or go for chapathi.
