I am aged 65. I am a diabetic and have undergone angioplasty and taking regular medicines for the last 8 years. Now my urine test for albumin is positive and my blood creatinine is 1.2. I want to know whether my kidney damaged? if so what to do?

Get urinary microalbumin/urinary creatinine ratio and egfr done. Sometimes urinary tract infections infections or fever give falsely positive albumin test.
