I'm having repeated spells of dizziness from the last 1 month. Also sometimes I feel my heartbeat becomes very fast or very slow without any external reason? Are these both related? What might be the cause? I am an asthma patient and use steroid medication.

If you are using steroids in inhaler, it will be harmless. Breathlessness and giddiness will be related. if taking oral steroids in tablet form that can affect heart rate and can cause giddiness. if you can give some more infromation like when do you get the giddiness and change in the heart rate both increase and decrease. if it related to food/ sleep/ change of position like from sitting to standing or lying to standing. and some more information is required to pin point the cause and suggest remedial measures. so come back with more information. good luck
