Currently she has been taking below medicines from 6 months: Istamet 50/500 Mitovit Rosuvin 10 Mclazide M proper 15 Her last 3 months reports are: June - Before fasting - 160 & after fasting - 288 May - Before fasting - 240 & after fasting - 326 April - Before fasting - 190 & after fasting - 282 Please guide us if we can continue with the same medicines? Mr. lybrate-user By looking at blood glucose levels, it is clear that her diabetes is uncontrolled. There's no mention of HbA1c%, that gives a much better idea of long term control. Her treatment needs to be properly calibrated with glucose levels. We may have to add some additional drug/s. As regards ayurvedic drugs, there's no real benefit. Those drugs at best can be supportive therapy. If you come in a private conversation with all details like current fasting, PP& HbA1c%, dietary habits & extent of daily exercise then I will be able to guide specifically. Thanks.
