It will be better to eat pomegranate rather than drink it's juice. Eating whole fruit will provide more fibre which in turn will help to bring down blood glucose levels. Other fruits like pear, plums, orange, kiwi, can also be included instead of pomegranate.

Mr. Lybrate-user, with diabetes, having a weight of 94 kgs, is not really good. It means he has a bmi of 32.52 kgs/m2, which is grade 1 obesity. This itself contributes to increased glucose level or not getting enough control on blood glucose. Taking home made pomegranate juice is fine, but there is should be no sugar in it, plus quantity should be limited. Also blood glucose should be in good control. At 170 cms height and with 70 years age, ideal body weight should be 63 kgs. Please keep that in mind. Thanks.
