I was diagnosed with type 2diabetes in 2021 after covid positive. And I am taking treatment of glynase mf1. 5-0-1.5, jalradp 1-0-0. Recently I had a checkup of diabetes showing results pbs 204 and ppbs 345, hba1c is 10. Can please suggest treatment for this?

At present since hba1c is 10hence you need insulin at least basal to control sugar and dose can be adjusted later on please start with injection glargine 12 units at bedtime and do sugar all pretty post meal and at bed time goal is to achieve fasting and pp less than 110-120 and 160-180 my as first step if still high then increase injection gkargine by 2 units every third day till goal is achieved if you wish can consult me privately.
