I am taking mirtazapine 7.5 mg at night since last 6 months. If I have an exam or interview early morning, should I skip mirtazapine at night as I may not feel active in the morning?

Dear lybrate-user, by this time of 6 months, you might have developed tolerance to sedation of mirtazapine. So, you may not feel lethargic or drowsy due to mirtazapine. If you skip the dose, it takes again 2-3 weeks to start its action. Not a good idea. You can ask your doctor for a non sedating antidepressant in the next follow up.
