Doctor i'm suffering from fissured tongue and get cuts or sores everyday or other. Sores heal but again happen on some other area of tongue. I have acid reflux problem and got endoscopy done which was fine. One day metallic acid came to my mouth and this all started. It's been more than 2 months I want a proper diagnosis. I got some blood test done which all were fine like lft rft cbc. I'm scared and having anxiety if it is serious illness.

Get it check with dentist. You may have sharp teeth edges that usually happens due to long term acid reflux and sharp edges on the teeth may be cutting your tongue. If the teeth are attrited you need to smoothen the edges of the teeth. Also take aciloc 150 or pan d for controlling acidity. Improve diet. Restrict yourself from unhealthy, oily fatty food. Brush extra soft only in circular motion, use tooth paste like sensodyne sensitive, no powder/ no abrasive/no silica based toothpaste. Please get yourself checked once.

Hello maam keep your body hydrated, mentain oral hygiene properly use mouth wash and use tongue cleaner or brush your tongue, fissured tongue is coz of improper oral hygiene and iron and vit deficiency and do check with your dentist if you have any sharp tooth.
