Hello, I am 22, female, and I experience intense urinary pain. My case is very specific, so please read through everything I say very carefully. In the morning, I feel like I need to urinate but cannot do so regardless of whether or not I had any water the evening prior. The sensation I get is like intense tension, pressure, and like I need to pee but cannot. There is no burning. My urine in these cases is very bright yellow. The urination, if it happens, is very painful. The only thing that has ever helped me was water. My urine is only ever clear if I have a lot of water. It's still very painful to urinate. If I drink anything but water (juice, soda), I cannot properly urinate at all. I feel this same painful sensation, and only large amounts of water drank after ease it down. If I don't drink any water at all, my urination doesn't come properly. If I stay up past my usual routine bedtime, the pain is no longer soothed down by water. The urination is painful and barely anything comes out. Every time at the er, they tell me i'm very dehydrated. I've been tested for utis and other infections before, I don't have it. The only think that helps is water or hydrating at the hospital. Please, don't recommend me any pills. I have been given pills before and nothing helped. I also had a pap exam, it was fine. My blood is fine too. Painkillers do nothing. This had been happening nonstop for about a year now.

Dear Lybrate user, I had gone thr' your report regarding your urinary problems --- you may have urinary tract infection with some bacteria which may be unidentified in culture and sensitivity tests -- drinking 3-4 liters of water daily is good for ladies susceptible for urinary problems .// also passing urine every 2-3 hours is good in such persons // you have to pass urine in clean and tidy toilets--- if not droplets from the floor of toilet will spill on your private areas ,leading to another bout of uti--if you use unhygienic public toilets-- try to pass urine in semi standing position and don't use water from there for cleaning your private areas --but do cleaning as early as possible// better use v-wash instead of soap for cleaning your private parts menstrual hygiene and daily cleaning of undergarments also are important // avoid extreme hot environment and strenuous activities // have plenty of fresh glv/ other veggies and fruits daily as salads and fresh juices //restrict oily ; fried; roasted and junk food ; pastries ; colas etc / drink fresh juices; tender coconut water etc // do exercise-- like slow walking for 30 minutes ; do yoga and meditation daily // sleep 8 hours daily // have a healthy daily work schedule with enough time for taking food; to go to toilet frequently ;to sleep at correct time etc and obey that.---- develop positive mental energy by smiling ; be happy and helping ;supporting ; encouraging and appreciating others and decrese your mental negative enrgy like fear ; anxiety ; depression etc by being more confident ; optimistic and bold --- if you are still getting your problems after obeying these guidelines --- please have a check-up with a urosurgeon -----ok.
